It began with two dogs who needed a second chance.
Brindle & Bloom didn't start in a boardroom. It started with two rescue dogs who needed us, and quietly changed what we wanted our work to mean.
The one who taught us patience
Yoshi
When we met Yoshi, he had spent four years scared and alone in a backyard. He was gentle, but fearful and unsure of people.
Since joining us, he’s come so far, slowly learning to trust, finding comfort in new places, and even discovering a love for the beach. His best friend is Blue, who has helped him feel safe and shown him what friendship can look like.
The one who taught us joy
Blue
Blue didn’t have the easiest start in life. He was surrendered due to medical issues and moved through several foster homes before finding his forever home with the B&B family.
Blue is joy personified, greeting every visitor with lightning-bolt energy and an instant wagging welcome. Today, he’s living his best life with Yoshi, soaking up the sun and surrounded by as many toys as he can carry.
Why we do it this way
We could have launched just another swimwear label. But Yoshi and Blue taught us that the throwaway version of things (fast, cheap, forgettable) always costs something living. So we made different choices.
Our swimwear is made from regenerated materials. Some pieces use ECONYL® regenerated nylon, made from fishing nets and waste recovered from the ocean. Others use REPREVE® recycled polyester, spun from post-consumer plastic bottles. Both are made to be worn for years, not a season.
And because rescue gave us everything, we give back to it. $5 from every full-price sale helps rescue animals find a home, and $2 from every discounted sale.
